Kathleen probably wants to believe what Jane said though, because she goes to see Richard and tries to get information out of him. She tell her brother that she wants to settle, and split their brother's estate in two. Richard tells her he has other plans, so Kathleen now suspects that what Jane told her is true.

Jane's boyfriend Michael (a cop) is blinded by jealousy and he starts chasing John/Tarzan after the young man took care of a gang in a parking lot. Michael shoots John/Tarzan in the arm, and the two end up fighting on top of a building. Jane arrives, but she cannot stop Michael from wanting to go after John. The two men fall over the ledge, John/Tarzan tries to hold him, but Michael falls and dies.

Jane takes John to Kathleen place where he should be safe and can get his wound looked at. Aunt Kate is shocked (but happy) to see her nephew in her house.
