Why "Battlestar
Galactica" ?
I hesitated for a long
time because I really like my life in LA with my husband (Rob
Tapert, Xena's producer) and our two sons Julius and Judah (7
and 4). I didn't want to commit myself for several years in a TV
show produced in Canada. But the producers offered me to come
for about ten episodes.
Will you be in the 4th
season of "Battlestar Galactica "?
I don't think so. I will
play in the pilot of the US adaptation of Footballers' Wives
(british series – new 3rd season aired on Teva (a
French channel) on Tuesday at 23.15). If everything's all right,
21 episodes will be produced before the end of the year. This
version will be closer to "Desperate Housewives" and "Sex and
the City".
Few people know that
you're a singer…
It's true and I recorded
an album called Come2Me. I already sang in several
concerts in California. The next dates for my show are in New
York at the end of May. If some French fans want to come….
Do people still talk
to you about Xena Warrior Princess ?
Yes, of course. I would
never have imagined that I could become this heroine who got
fans all around the world. I have been going to XWP conventions
and I'm still surprised by the reception of fans who know my
part better than I do. Some viewers talk to me about episodes
with full details when I can't remember what I played last
month.
