Dionne Warwick was interviewed for the NZ Sunday Star Times
and she mentioned Lucy:
More recently, she has appeared on American television's
Celebrity Duets, with Kiwi Lucy Lawless. She's not surprised
Xena the Warrior Princess has expressed a desire to become a
musical star.
"Well, you know, everybody gets the bug every now and
then. Lucy has a wonderful voice, I think everybody was kind of
pleasantly surprised. If she really wants this as much as she
did her acting career, I believe she'll be pretty good at it."
But, Warwick warns, "You must want to do this badly and
have it kind of grow out of your soul."
