Lucy Lawless hosts a five-part series of hour-long specials over four consecutive nights, each profiling a historical woman who makes Xena look like June Cleaver. Lawless travelled around the world to the sites of battles and events and the stories are fleshed out with re-creations and expert interviews. Joan of Arc is first up tonight, followed by the real Mulan at 9 p.m. The rest of the episodes (all at 8 p.m.) are: Monday: Boudica; Tuesday: the pirate Grace O'Malley; and Wednesday: Apache warrior Lozen.
