Spinoff buzz was in the air when the Ash vs. Evil Dead cast popped into TVLine’s Comic-Con studio, presented by ZTE, last weekend to talk up Season 2 of their blood-soaked Starz series. It all started when co-star Dana DeLorenzo revealed that an upcoming episode finds her fierce and ferocious character Kelly collaborating with the enemy, aka Lucy Lawless’ demonic Ruby.

Comic Book Resources has announced that there will be a new comic book series with Xena and Ash Williams from Army of Darkness (Evil Dead etc)

Xena, Warrior Princess is meeting the one man who can stop the undead, Ash Williams, in "Army of Darkness / Xena, Warrior Princess: Forever… and a Day." This four-part miniseries published by Dynamite Entertainment will be written by Scott Lobdell ("Red Hood and the Outlaws") and illustrated by Elliot Fernandez ("Harley Quinn and Power Girl").

"Army of Darkness / Xena, Warrior Princess: Forever… and a Day" #1 kicks off with Xena discovering the world's first jilted lover from the Garden of Eden. Xena will be forced to call on funny man and womanizer Ashley Williams to battle an undead army in a story that will include time travel, romance, and of course, zombies.

#1 will feature four variant covers seen below, from artists including Reilly Brown ("Deadpool & Cable,") series artist Eliot Fernandez, David Robinson, and Michael Adams, respectively.

Guess we’re not the only ones hanging out until the October return of Starz’s demonically fun scarefest Ash vs. Evil Dead. In Season 2 of the gore-soaked follow-up to the cult horror-movie hits, Pablo (Ray Santiago) gets yet another lesson in what it means to be the loyal sidekick to demon-hunting Ash (Bruce Campbell) when he runs afoul of Lucy Lawless’s vindictive Ruby.

One more Lucy event as part of the San Diego Comic Con this year. Lucy is scheduled to appear at the EW Spotlight Stage at 4 PM on Friday 22 July

Entertainment Weekly’s Con-X offsite – taking place July 21-24 at the Embarcadero Marina Park North — has a lot going on this year at San Diego Comic-Con.

EW is excited to host Con-X, a four-day getaway in Embarcadero Marina Park North in downtown San Diego.
The fan-first event, which takes place from Thursday, July 21 through Sunday, July 24, is located next to all the action at the convention center. Free and open to the public, visitors can relax and enjoy picnic areas, food trucks, phone-charging and hydration stations -- or get groomed at the Schick Hydro Super Shave Shop, treat themselves at the SweeTARTS "Follow Your Tart" custom candy lab, and take photos in the PEOPLE/Entertainment Weekly Network Red Carpet photo booth.

BTW NBC thinks this woman can’t play Xena…someone needs to give NBC a refresher course in Lucy Lawless doing action scenes. Just A thought…

E Online says…Things are about to get bloody for Ash vs. Evil Dead. Well, bloodier.  In the sneak peek teaser trailer below, Bruce Campbell and Lucy Lawless mix it up with all sorts of weapons—Xena's got a gun!—and the results are exactly what you'd expect.

The second season, which will be 10 half-hour episodes, picks up with Ash (Campbell) returning to his hometown of Elk Grove. He confronts Ruby (Lawless) and the former enemies have to form an alliance as Elk Grove becomes the center of all evil. Oh yeah, Ruby now has the Necronomicon.

The cast also includes Ray Santiago and Dana DeLorenzo. Lee Majors, Ted Raimi and Michelle Hurd join the cast for the new season. Campbell, Sam Rami, Rob Tapert, Ivan Raimi and Craig DiGregorio serve as executive producers on the Starz series.

Ash vs Evil Dead is off to the San Diego Comic Con on July 23 with a panel.

Saturday, July 23rd, get up close and person with the “Ash vs. Evil Dead” gang. Things kick off with an autograph signing from 2:00-3:00 PM at the “Ash vs. Evil Dead” cabin in the Petco Park Interactive Zone. That’ll be followed by a panel presentation from 6:45-7:45 PM in Room 6A, capped off by a screening with your first look at Season 2 beginning at 10:00 PM in Room 6DE.

Expected talent includes Bruce Campbell, Lucy Lawless, Rob Tapert, Dana DeLorenzo, Ray Santiago, Lee Majors, Ted Raimi, and Sam Raimi.

Premiering in October 2016, the second season of “Ash vs. Evil Dead” roars back into action with Ash leaving his beloved Jacksonville and returning to his hometown of Elk Grove. There, he confronts Ruby. The former enemies have to form an uneasy alliance as Elk Grove soon becomes the nucleus of evil.

The cast is led by Bruce Campbell (Evil Dead, “Burn Notice”) in the role of Ash Williams; Lucy Lawless (“Salem,” “Spartacus”) as Ruby, who now possesses the powerful Necronomicon; Ray Santiago (“Touch,” Meet the Fockers) as Pablo Simon Bolivar, Ash’s loyal sidekick dealing with the trauma he suffered in the cabin; and Dana DeLorenzo (A Very Harold & Kumar 3D Christmas) as Kelly Maxwell, who, grief-stricken after the death of her parents, plots revenge against the Evil Dead. Lee Majors (Do You Believe), Ted Raimi (“Xena: Warrior Princess,” Spider-Man), and Michelle Hurd (“Law & Order: SVU”) join the series this year as Brock Williams, Ash’s father; Chet Kaminski, Ash’s childhood best friend; and Linda, Ash’s high school love, respectively.

Sam Raimi serves as executive producer with Rob Tapert (Evil Dead, “Spartacus,” Xena: Warrior Princess”), Bruce Campbell (Evil Dead, “Burn Notice”), and Ivan Raimi (Drag Me to Hell, Spider-Man 3) along with Craig DiGregorio (“Workaholics,” “Chuck”), who serves as executive producer/showrunner. Aaron Lam (“Spartacus”) and Moira Grant (“Spartacus”) serve as producers.

From this year  Palermo Comic Convention  ushers in a new series of events related to the world of cinema and TV series. Guest of honor for the 2016 edition, is the beautiful and talented  Lucy Lawless , famous interpreter of several TV hits like  Xena ,  Battlestar Galactica ,  Salem ,  Spartacus  until recent  Ash Vs. Evil Dead  alongside  Bruce Campbell .

The New Zealand actress will attend the festival and will, in addition, a limited number of meetings dedicated to the fans. Its presence in Palermo will include:

• a  projection

• A  Panel Q & A (questions and answers)

• The  Meet & Greet with fans  (a meeting with handshake)

It is the will of our organization to ensure that these meetings will grow over the years. there is no maximum intake for a fan who meet their heroes.We believe that this is the healthy spirit of a convention.

Obviously purely logistical reasons will not allow everyone to have access to the meetings mentioned above. So highly we recommend it to all those who were really interested in meeting Lucy to act without delay to adopt the title input necessary that in this case are two types of  Pass , the silver and the gold, regularly purchased in  the ticket of the event page .
